1. General Information
Event Nature: A daiquiri-making competition open to the public, held as part of a tiki-style party.
Date: 4/13/25
Time: 3-7p
Location: 815 Cocktails & Provisions , 815 Elm St Manchester NH 2nd Floor
• Participates are to arrive at 215 and check in with Sarah.
Theme: Participants are encouraged to incorporate tiki aesthetics into their presentation, attire, and garnishing.
2. Eligibility & Registration
Who Can Enter: Open to all individuals 21+
Registration: Pre-registration is required by April 1st, Participating contestants will be notified by April 6th via Email.
Tools: Participants may use their own bartending tools.
• Alternatively, a basic set of equipment will be provided by the event.
3. Competition Format
3 Rounds: speed, accuracy, taste
• Participants will be selected at random in groups of 2. Each round in an elimination round.
• First Round – Speed: All complete for time to complete a Daiquiri. Top 4 move forward to round 2.
• Second Round – Accuracy:Contestants that have move forward compete to make the best tasting Daiquiri using their Planteray Rum of choice (provided). Planteray Rum, lime and some sort of sugar syrup are required in the cocktail.
• Final Round – Taste: The top scorers from the preliminaries will advance to a final round for a head-to-head competition.
This is a Wild Card round.
Time Limit: Each contestant will be timed to complete one Daiquiri from start to finish.
• Standard Recipe: A list of required ingredients (e.g., rum, lime juice, simple syrup) will be provided by 815, and Represented by MS Walker and Planetary Rum.
4. Judging Criteria
Speed: Time taken to complete one cocktail will be recorded.
Style: Presentation flair and creativity, including adherence to the theme.
• Use of garnishes, glassware, and overall visual appeal will be judged.
Accuracy: Correct measurement of ingredients according to the classic Daiquiri recipe.
Final taste profile and balance of the daiquiri will be evaluated by the judges.
Note: Each category may be weighted equally or as defined by the organizers, and in case of a tie, a sudden-death round may be held.
5. Equipment and Ingredients
Ingredients: A standard ingredient list will be supplied BY April 6th?. Any additional tiki-inspired ingredients (e.g., tropical garnishes) are allowed and must be approved prior to the event. What about glassware? Are they just making one drink in each round?

6. Safety & Conduct
Safety Guidelines: All contestants must follow proper bartending safety protocols, including careful handling of glassware, sharp tools, and alcohol.
Behavior: Unsportsmanlike conduct or failure to adhere to safety guidelines will result in score deductions or disqualification.
Cleanliness: Contestants are required to wash hands and clean their work area after their round to maintain a safe and organized environment.
7. Conduct Violations:
Any form of misconduct, including cheating or disruption of the event, will result in disqualification.
